Bushey Sr., 81, of Gardner died peacefully at his residence Wednesday evening, June 29, 2022 with his family at his side. Quiet and kind, yet also feisty, “Earl, Dad, Pop-Pop” loved a good laugh and was always quick to share one of his many stories about growing up on a farm in a big family. Many of his tales were of his decades involved in New England Harness Racing.

Don is survived by his wife Phyllis Asselin, of Gardner; his son, Philip Asselin and his wife, Kristine, of Littleton; and granddaughter, Katherine.
